Event NameEmergency Meetings
Extraordinary encounters play an important role among us in the universe. Whether interpreted by crew members as a decisive tactical decision or by imposters as a means of calculated sabotage, they often represent game-changing moments. When a crew member finds a dead colleague or suspects suspicious behavior, they can call an emergency meeting to discuss their findings and suspicions. All operational data is paused while the starship's crew gather around the conference table to discuss. During these heated deliberations, each contestant plays their part to discover any imposters. However, cunning imposters can use these encounters to their advantage, using deception and misdirection to make innocent crew members suspicious.

History

Between Us is a popular multiplayer online game developed and published by American game studio Innersloth. The game universe takes place in a space theme, where each player takes on one of two roles, most of which are crew members and a predetermined number of impersonators.

The objective of the game depends on your role. If you are a member of the crew, your goal is to complete all the tasks after finding out who the impostor is. Activities are various mini-games scattered around the map. As a crew member, it can be simple tasks like connecting cables, or more complex tasks like blowing up asteroids.

On the other hand, your goal as a decoy is to eliminate enough crew members so that the number of decoys is equal to the number of crew members before all tasks are completed. You must blend in with the crew, sneak through vents, trick and frame others to avoid getting caught and wiping out the crew.

The game takes place on one of three maps: The Skeld (spaceship), Mira HQ (tall building) or Polus (planetary base). Player communication, mostly to discuss their suspicions of who might be a cheater, takes place in the text chat system, though only during certain "discussion times".
