Overview
House of Holy Grail Wars is a conflict speculation where servants and masters clash in search of the all-powerful Holy Grail. Its resonance with the Holy Grail gives it a surreal energy and aura of mystery, drawing players deeper into the story.
The architecture of Fuyuki city weaves reality with fantasy, a synthesis of everyday neighborhoods and epic battlefields. The Tohsaka Residence, Ryuudou Temple, and Einzbern Castle are among the main attractions, each bearing heavy historical traces of the Grail Wars.
But Fuyuki is not all about events and entertainment. He is a character in himself, his fate intertwined with the fate of his inhabitants. It's a melancholic sunset that hides secrets, quiet streets that echo with unheard heroic tales, and an unsuspecting city that sleeps on a seismic fault line of magical energy. This grand and complex setting is an irresistibly compelling cradle for the iconic Fate/Grand Order saga. This place symbolizes the beginning and end of many journeys where warriors rise and fall, making Fuyuki the cornerstone of the Fate/Grand Order universe.
History
This city has seen countless battles between masters and servants, conflicts, fueled ambitions, dreams and despair. In the Fate/Grand Order version, Fuyuki is closely related to the main antagonistic forces of the story, the animosphere of the Temple of Time and the servants of the beast class.
The first FGO exclusive, titled Flames of Calamity: Fuyuki, took place in the city of Fuyuki in a parallel world where the mythical Holy Grail War took a terrible turn. Protagonist Ritsuka Fujimaru and his loyal servant Mash Kyrielight had to uncover the truth behind the corrupted Holy Grail War, fight evil infected servants, and finally face the Beast Class Servant, a symbol of humanity's sins.
The design of the city of Fuyuki in FGO also draws heavily on the history of the conflict, with its scorched wasteland look and buildings engulfed in flames. Here, time stands still, frozen at the deadly climax of the Holy Grail War, leaving a devastated area behind.
Fuyuki marks the beginning of a journey for all Masters in the Grand Order timeline. Filled with battles of epic proportions and intriguing intrigue, the story provides a rich narrative that underpins the drama of the Fate/Grand Order storyline.
Background
The city is made up of several districts, including Miyama, a residential area where Shinto people live, and a city center with tall skyscrapers that symbolize Japan's modernization. Fuyuki is also home to a large forest known as Fuyuki City Park, which has a delicate balance between urbanization and nature.
While modernist architecture dominates much of Fuyuki, Ryuudou's ancient temple retains its historic charm. Standing on Mount Enzou, it is not only a symbol of cultural preservation, but also a focus of spiritual and mystical quests.
Shrouded in mystery and steeped in history, the city of Fujuki was also home to the Great Grail. This all-powerful device, capable of granting any wish, was the primary goal of the Holy Grail War. Hidden beneath the city, the Great Grail marked Fuyuki as a magnetic field that attracted various wizards and minions seeking to fulfill their dreams and aspirations.
Interestingly, despite the rampage and chaos caused by repeated wars, the city miraculously recovered. Filled with rich lore, milestones, and relentless power struggles, the essence of Fuyuki City is not limited to its architectural design or topographical layout. It is a reflection of the determined will of its inhabitants, making it the cornerstone of the Destiny/Grand Order universe.
