Once inside, the common space is warm, comfortable and inviting, just like the students who live there. One wall is dominated by a large fireplace, where students usually gather to study, socialize and relax. Massive wooden tables and chairs lined the rest of the room, and embers from the fire cast flickering lights through the dark wooden beams of the ceiling, creating an atmosphere of cozy camaraderie.
