Villagers
General Info

Faction Name | Villagers |

Overview
In addition to trading with players, villagers also play a vital role in rebuilding their communities through reproduction. Their desire to reproduce is determined by the number of valid harbors and beds in the village. But the villagers are not completely powerless. When the village is attacked, iron golems will defend it. These Golems are very strong and deal a lot of damage.
Also, villagers tend to turn into zombies when attacked by zombies on certain difficulty conditions. When such an unfortunate event occurs, they can be healed with golden apples and potions of weakness, explaining the player's role in their protection and well-being. Collectively, villagers provide essential dynamism and depth to the Minecraft universe, creating a variety of interaction opportunities from trading to community building and protection.
History
Mojang, the Minecraft company, is gradually making changes to revive the villagers. Minecraft update 1.3.1 introduced a trading feature that allows players to purchase resources. He introduced emeralds as currency, and each villager was assigned a profession that affected his products.
However, it wasn't until the Village and Pillage update of version 1.14 that Villagers became an integral part of the Minecraft game. These once docile NPCs became the target of fearsome marauders out to exterminate them. To resist these invasions, players had to strengthen their defenses, build a stronger bond between them and the villagers. Additionally, 1.14 updated the design of villagers based on their professions and biomes, increasing the aesthetic variety of the game. They've also developed a daily routine of working, chatting, sleeping, and meeting other villagers around the clock, making them an important part of the vast and vibrant Minecraft universe.
In retrospect, the evolution of villagers illustrates Minecraft's enduring appeal. Their progression from simple bystanders to nuanced NPCs with their own unique behaviors, appearances, and interactions create a dynamic and immersive environment that continues to fascinate the global Minecraft community.
