Battle of Marineford

One Piece is a phenomenal anime and manga series created by Eiichiro Oda. This universe revolves around the adventures of pirates who dream of getting their hands on the greatest treasure known as One Piece to become the Pirate King. The main character, monkey D. Luffy, takes the properties of rubber and accidentally eats a supernatural fruit known as the "Devil Fruit", leading the Straw Hat Pirates through the Great Line, a dangerous and constantly moving sea.

Each island and terrain they explore has its own unique challenges, societies and creatures that lead to dynamic world building. The underlying politics of the world government and the mysteries surrounding the Void Century, along with the pursuit of the revolutionary army, add depth to the cohesive universe. A unique power-up system such as Haki and Devil Fruits creates a complex combat setup. Although the humor and camaraderie return from time to time, the series is a unique combination of emotion, adventure and action.
