Team Chaotix is a group of detectives that play an important role in Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series of games. Based mostly on Mystical Ruins, this trio covers everything from small problems to full-scale world-threatening scenarios. It consists of Charmy Bee, Espio the Chameleon, and Vector the Crocodile, each giving the team unique abilities and adding variety to the game.
Espio Chameleon is the team's ninja known for his stealth and speed. He has the power of invisibility and impressive martial arts skills. Then there is Charmy Bee, the smallest and youngest of the team. Despite its age, Charmy is highly maneuverable in the air and is essential for missions that require pinpoint accuracy.
Finally, there is Vector the crocodile, the leader of the team, who uses his great strength and analytical mind to keep the group balanced. He may look intimidating because of his size, but he has a heart of gold and will never hesitate to help those in need.

History

Team Chaotix, introduced by Knuckles' Chaotix, is a small-time private detective detective agency in the Sonic universe. This team formed a nascent faction when members, frustrated with the disorganization and ineffectiveness of other Sonic factions, decided to make their own mark on the world.
At the wheel stands the crocodile Vektorius, the self-appointed leader of the team. His dream was to start a detective agency, and he did it: a company that started small but quickly took off thanks to Vector's persistence and uncanny ability to follow a lead. Vector's leadership style, although unusual, consists of inexplicably strong feelings that usually lead the team to success. Then there's Charmy Bee, the youngest, liveliest and arguably most derivative of the bunch. Despite being part of a detective agency, he is often more interested in more than just detective work. However, time and time again he proves indispensable to the team due to his unique abilities, such as passing in tight spaces or blocking when needed.
Finally, there is the chameleon Espio. Quiet, disciplined and deadly, Espio is the undisputed backbone of the Chaotix team. Espio's stealth and ninja skills usually get the team out of trouble without a hitch.
Since their inception, the team has been getting the job done, albeit not in the most conventional way. Over the years they have had a variety of cases ranging from missing persons investigations to recovering stolen artifacts and conspiracies against the natural order of the world.
