'Petz Dogz 2' is a virtual pet simulator adapted and published by Ubisoft for the Nintendo DS. Originally released in Japan as 'Ocha-ken no Heya DS' by developers MTO, it was later ported in the West as part of the Petz series on November 13th, 2007. The localization retextured the tea-like dogs to be based on real breeds, and shares assets with 'Kawaii Koinu Wonderful'; another game developed by MTO. - Not to be mistaken for the Wii and PC versions of the same name, 'Petz Dogz 2' invites you into a 3D house filled to the top with different dog breeds to take care of! With dogs crossing the fields like the well-known German Shepherd to the smallest of its kind, Chihuahuas, begin with one loveable pup to take with you into a customizable dollhouse. Watch your puppies play around in the makeshift house, as they interact with their surroundings: pieces of furniture, bowls of food, toys and outdoor equipment can prompt different reactions! There's also 16 exciting, traditional minigames if you grow bored of the indoors. These can include card games, bowling, hide and seek, portrait painting, and rhythm-based games to help further your furniture collection. Continue building it up, and you and your dogs will have their dreamhouse of glories!
