The mountain is infamous for the bloody battles that take place on its soil, especially with the Demon of the Hands, whose otherwise peaceful appearance has a dark atmosphere. The mountain was also Tanjiro Kamado's training ground, where he cut his teeth under the tutelage of former water Hashira Sakonji Urokodaki.
