Also known as the Leaf Village, Konohagakure is an integral part of the Naruto universe as many of the main characters, including Naruto Uzumaki himself, hail from it. Founded by the founders of the ninja villages, Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha, they originally planned to create a place where future generations of shinobi could live a life without the constant worry of conflict and war.
Hashirama became the first Hokage, a leader and a symbol of solidarity and unity among the villagers.
