Steven Universe is an American animated television series created by Rebecca Sugar, former Adventure Time writer and storyboard artist for Cartoon Network. It's a coming-of-age story that's a breathtaking tale of love, loss, music and secrets. The universe is home to many humans, aliens called gems, and various other species.

The series revolves around Steven Universe (voiced by Zach Callison), a young man who, with his magical gem powers, follows in the footsteps of his gem mothers Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl. An incredibly unique creature with inherited powers beyond human understanding, Steven is half-human, half-gem - an incredible legacy to carry on. Most of the series focuses on Steven's attempts to understand and master his powers, help people, and grow.
