Background
Formerly part of Chandur, Westmarch later declared independence under the wise King Cornelius, who led the region through a prosperous golden age. The influence of the Zakarum church started a period of intense religious enlightenment and cultural prosperity.
However, this prosperity will not last. Westmarch was once again in the line of fire, and the angel of death, Malthael, signaled the beginning of his downfall. Once a beacon of prosperity, this country turned into a ghost town overnight. Malthael's Reapers ravaged the population, turning their victims into ghostly figures that forever haunt their homeland.
