Overview
The term "Death Eaters" truly reflects the nature of these dark wizards as they bring death and destruction wherever they go, symbolizing Lord Voldemort's will for a world free of mutagens, muggleborns, and all "unclean" wizards or witches. Their ingrained belief in pureblood supremacy often erases any moral or ethical lines they may have ever drawn.
Mysterious and dangerous, Death Eaters possess dark arts, unforgivable curses, and a special horror that sends shivers down the spines of the wizarding community. Their loyalty to Voldemort is unwavering, each bearing a dark mark that is both a sign of loyalty and a way of communicating with their feared leader.
Basically, Death Eaters embody the most extreme form of evil in the magical realm. Their campaign of fear and bigotry not only forms the backbone of Voldemort's rise to power, but also forms a dark chapter in the storied history of the wizarding world.
History
The Death Eaters reached their full strength during the First Wizarding War under the carefully planned leadership of Voldemort. They were identified by their distinctive dark robes and masks, each marked with the Dark Mark, an ominous symbol of a skull with a snake protruding from its mouth. This group consisted of some of the most feared and infamous dark wizards and witches, including Detta's Bellatrix, Lucius Malfoy, and Peter Pettigrew. During the war, the Death Eaters committed many unspeakable atrocities, spreading fear and terror throughout the wizarding world. Their reign of terror ended temporarily with Voldemort's downfall when he tried to kill baby Harry Potter and disappeared.
But the Death Eaters were not completely disbanded. They stood in the shadows, their loyalty intact, awaiting the return of their leader. Their patience got the better of them when Voldemort reappeared during the Triwizard Tournament. The Second Wizarding War began with even greater intensity and ended only after the epic Battle of Hogwarts in which Voldemort was defeated and his minions captured or killed.
The legacy of the Death Eaters remains a dark stain on magical history. Their blind loyalty, terror, and the fear they spread were a haunting reminder of the dire consequences that come when the pursuit of power becomes more important than the value of life itself.

Geography
Death Eaters, mostly witches and wizards of British origin, carried out most of the known attacks within the borders of the United Kingdom. Major sites include Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the Ministry of Magic, and several muggle and wizarding houses. However, there are also some examples that show their international influence.
In addition, they held secret meetings in remote and inconspicuous places to serve their leader, Lord Voldemort. A prominent example is the cemetery at Little Hangleton, the home of Voldemort's father, where the group experienced a complete renaissance.
Despite their geographic limitation to mainly Britain, the terror of the Death Eaters had international ramifications. Their regime influenced foreign policy in wizarding ministries around the world and disrupted international wizarding institutions, posing an existential threat to the global wizarding community. In conclusion, although the geography of the Death Eaters was mainly concentrated in Britain, their evil was felt throughout the wizarding world.
