The faction started during the third Stardust Crusaders saga, consisting of Jotaro Kujo, Joseph Joestar, Muhammad Avdol, Noriaki Kakyoin, Jean-Pierre Polnareff and Iggy the dog. The formation of this powerful group was necessary, starting with Jotaro's imprisonment after the spirit abuse of Star Platinum.
Joseph Joestar and Avdol, already fully aware of the mystical power of the stand, soon decipher that Jotar's trouble is caused by one man, the immortal vampire Dio Brando.
