History

Magic: The Gathering (MTG) is a trading card game created by math professor Richard Garfield and released in 1993. presented by Wizards of the Coast. MTG is often credited as the first trading card game with over 20 million players worldwide. The MTG Universe, also known as the multiverse, is a vast expanse of worlds called planes, each with its own unique characteristics, inhabitants, and history.

Planeswalkers, the most powerful beings in the multiverse, can travel between these planes. Each plane has its own unique magic, and there are countless types of creatures and magical spells. The cards in the game represent magical spells, creatures, and artifacts that allow you to play the role of a planeswalker battling other planeswalkers for glory, knowledge, or conquest.
