History

Inazuma, the kingdom of eternity, has a rich and dramatic history that has shaped and continues to shape the nation's cultural, political and spiritual landscape. As one of the seven nations of Teywat, Inazuma worships the Electro Archon, Beelzebul, also known as Raiden Shogun. His ideal of eternity shapes the prevailing philosophy and laws in the country.
Inazuma was once known for its open exchange with foreign cultures. However, he underwent a drastic transformation when the Electro Archon issued the vision hunting decree. This decree began to confiscate all the Visions and place them in the hands of the statue of the thousand-eared, hundred-eyed God, representing the supreme power of the Raiden Shogun. Suddenly, a vibrant nation was cut off from the outside world and turned into an island nation.
The Vision Hunt decree not only led to political change, but also fueled a spirit of rebellion among the people of Inazuma. Known as the Sangonomy Resistance, the resistance was formed to fight the Electro Archon regime, who were fighting for the freedom that was once part of their land.
In addition to these tumultuous events, the diverse and unique culture of Inazuma was constantly changing. Inazuma's culture, known for the traditional displays of the Kamisato Art Troupe, the sacred cherry blossoms, and the intricate beauty of sword-making art, reflects its resilience in the face of adversity. These cultural expressions are a silent protest against the constant search for "eternity" and remind us of all the fleeting and changing beauty of life.
Over the centuries, Inazuma has proven to be a nation that can weather great storms. Although her story is steeped in rebellion, strife and change, her story is far from over. As the tides change in the Inazuma Archipelago, fascinating history also adds to the enduring legacy of this fascinating nation.

Background

Known as the "Nation of Eternity", Inazuma is one of the seven nations of Genshin Impact. It is ruled by the Electro Archon, the God of Eternity or "Beelzebub". The nation is an archipelago made up of several islands and is known as the most cultural.
Inazuma's most striking feature is its extreme isolation. Unlike Mondstadt and Liyue, Lord Inazuma believes in the pursuit of eternity and follows visions to achieve his goal. This act isolated her country from the rest of the world. The geography of the country is unique and wonderfully diverse. Comprised of 6 main islands, each location offers a variety of terrain, from picturesque coastlines to thriving urban settlements. But each island is unforgettable, etched with signs of strict control, fear of rebellion, and citizens' desire for freedom.
One of the most notable cultural aspects of Inazuma is the local population's belief in many gods and spirits. These religions have played an important role in shaping the architectural and traditional aspects of the nation, imbuing it with a rich folkloric influence. Inazuma's political climate is tense as he is currently embroiled in a conflict with his deity. The people occasionally question their ruler's decisions, causing the relationship between them to become strained. Nevertheless, there is still hope that the people of Inazuma cling to, believing that a brighter future awaits them.
This land, despite its deep problems and conflicts, remains an important and interesting part of the Genshin Impact universe. From culture to history to politics, understanding Inazuma gives players a richer and more immersive gaming experience.
